The Cause for Klaus organization was originally formed as a way to help Mark Klausmeyer during his fight against Fibrosarcoma cancer. The proceeds raised from these benefits helped him and his family ease the financial burden during this difficult time. Mark lost his battle with cancer on April 29, 2014, after enduring nearly two years of pain and suffering. Cause for Klaus produced such an overwhelming turnout of love and support for Mark that he asked his family and friends to continue the annual event in order to help other local families who have a loved one fighting cancer.

 

Throughout the years, these benefits held in honor of Mark Klausmeyer, have helped other local recipients during their fight against cancer. Our goal is to carry on this benefit, in his honor and to help as many financially struggling families for many years to come.
